Monroe company expansion rolls ahead

Construction moves forward, above, in Monroe on a 7,650-square-foot addition at Monroe Mold LLC, a company that makes molds and tooling for the blow-mold sector of the plastics industry. The $1 million expansion, which began last fall with construction of an engineering area and continued in February with the start of the construction of manufacturing space, will extend the company’s manufacturing capacity and allow it to buy equipment for a new line of blow-molded products.
